Brains and Brawn
Offices were closed last week as the staff delved into a dynamic team-building workshop led by Jed Handmer from People Reset. The session covered brain chemistry, psychometrics, and internal value systems, offering valuable insights into how individual strengths contribute to the broader team dynamic.
One such activity centered around the question “if you were a tool, what kind of tool would you be?” The responses were varied and included a microscope, knitting needles, a metronome, and a spanner that could double as a hammer. The diversity in responses generated both interest and enjoyment, highlighting the unique perspectives within the team.
Given the recent changes in staff and leadership over the past three months, the workshop provided an ideal opportunity to reflect on existing processes, identify strengths, and address areas for further development. The insights gained are expected to enhance collaboration and foster greater cohesion as the team moves forward with upcoming projects.
