Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) Community Impact Grants

Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought (HRCPD) program is the social resilience arm of National Drought hub funding. Wheatbelt NRM are leading the project for the Central Eastern Wheatbelt with partners Wheatbelt and Beyond Youth mentoring, Merredin and Districts Farm Improvement Group (MADFIG), Wheatbelt Way, Meridian Arts and Town Team Wheatbelt. These groups have been supported to activate their communities and create lasting regional networks with the aim of strengthening the region through periods of stress. Leadership Workshops have also been rolled out across the region to support community members create effective change in their communities. The workshops are facilitated by the Australian Regional Leadership Foundation.
