Our Team is Growing!
Big things are happening at Wheatbelt NRM, and with new projects on the horizon, we’re strengthening our team to continue supporting our land, communities, and future generations.
Expanding Our Team
We’re on the hunt for a Project Delivery Officer to join our Healthy Environments team and help drive important conservation and land management initiatives. We’re also seeking a new Aboriginal Ranger Team Manager to build on the great work of Andrew Vallance, who finished up with us at the beginning of March. If you (or someone you know) has the skills and passion to step into these roles, visit our careers page for more details, or email us at the below link for more information.
Welcoming New Faces
We’re pleased to introduce Rebecca Turner, who’s stepping into the Communications and Digital Media Coordinator role while Colleen Dew spends some time away on her new position as Mum! Also joining us is Zoe Crouch, who will take on the role of Executive Liaison Officer from March 25th 2025.
At the beginning of the year we also welcomed Alexander Johnson as the Project Manager for Low Carbon Landscapes. This initiative is all about integrating sustainable practices into our agricultural systems, helping farmers build resilience, enhance soil health, and reduce carbon footprints while maintaining productivity. Alex’s expertise and commitment make him a fantastic addition to the team, ensuring this important work continues to grow and deliver real benefits for the Wheatbelt.
