As part of the Shires commitment to “green” the urban environment, the Shire will be giving away a selection of native species to landowners within the Shire of Northam.  This program is designed to cater to the smaller landowners within the Shire, providing residents with the opportunity to select up to five free native tube stock plants to plant in their garden.

The program will be run on a first come first served basis so get in quick to take advantage of the giveaway. Your free natives can be picked up on either of the following dates:

• Tuesday 23rd June at the Wundowie Library between 10am and 1pm or
• Wednesday 24th June in Northam at the fire pit between the BKB and Visitors Centre between 10am and 1pm.

Anyone who would like to collect their FIVE FREE NATIVES, will need to provide proof of residency within the shire by providing either a drivers licence or rates notice.
