We were very excited to recently receive this award as recipients of the Judges’ Encouragement Award at the 2018 IAP2 Core Values Award.

AIP2 is the International Association for Public Participation and seeks to promote and improve the practice of public participation or community and stakeholder engagement.

Wheatbelt NRM was recognised for our work in delivering our organisational strategy of having the Wheatbelt community actively improving the environment of the Wheatbelt.

Other winners at the Awards included the South Australian Government, City of Edmonton in Canada, NZ Transport Agency and the City of Vincent.

We’re pretty stoked to be in the same league as some really great national and international community engagement projects.
