About Wheatbelt NRM

Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management is a non-profit organisation working in partnership with community, industry and government to provide regional leadership and direction for sustainable land use and the conservation of natural resources in the Avon River Basin of Western Australia.

About the Role

As WNRM Finance Manager you will lead, manage and implement the delivery of finance and business systems for the organisation. This will include the budget, monthly and annual financial statements and forecasting as well as payroll. Also, you will provide support to our project managers in budget preparation for grant applications and subsequent financial reporting as part of project performance evaluation.

You will also manage and coordinate the audit process for the Annual Financial Statements, responding to audit queries and processing post audit adjustments where necessary.

You will also assist in the assessment of the organisations financial processes and position.

To assist you in the role, an Administration and Finance Officer has been appointed to process Accounts Payable and Receivable.

Selection Criteria

  • Qualifications and experience in accounting, budgeting and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating the audit process.
  • Experience with MYOB or similar package.
  • Experience in working well as part of a diverse team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

To be eligible to apply you must be an Australian citizen or entitled to work in Australia, and you must have a valid Western Australian driver’s license.
