With a touch of nostalgia the Wheatbelt NRM staff and Board of Directors bid farewell to Dr Karl O’Callaghan who guided the organisation through significant paradigm changes and restructures as it navigated new funding systems and business innovation opportunities.

Karl’s status within the Western Australian community has opened doors for media interviews and strategic conversations with key stakeholders, which served to promote the important community action and leadership provided by natural resource management agencies.

Karl’s calm and patient leadership style has been highly valued by staff and we wish Karl well in the future.
