Corellas are known to have damaging effects on both our natural and built environments. Not only do they compete with endangered native species such as the Carnabys cockatoos for nesting hollows (sometimes even removing eggs), but they can also cause crop losses by digging up plants looking for seeds and damaging trees, they impact our sporting grounds by pulling up grasses, damage electrical wiring and implements, fouling water and buildings.
