Photos show off community work

Community Engagement

The Toodyay Friends of the River have been monitoring the health of the Avon River for some years now, and for the last couple they have been taking seasonal photo monitoring photos.

The purpose of these photos is to keep an eye on river condition as well as document past work and identify future work.

Wheatbelt NRM have been able to use our GIS capacity to assist the group.

Using ARCGIS Online and Google Gallery all this data is now available online for the group to update and the photo gallery shows change over time. This can be a really amazing communication tool for community groups.
