Talkin’ Soil Health, one of Australia’s premier soil health conferences, is returning to Western Australia on Thursday, 11 August.

The event is one of the largest and most reputable soil health conferences in Australia and is hosted by us (Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management). The biennial event is usually held in March however due to COVID-19 restrictions we are pleased to announce a new date in August this year.  The event brings together farmers, researchers and industry professionals for a day of presentations and field visits.  A key highlight of this event is the conference dinner on Thursday evening which incorporates the announcement of the 2022 regional Soil Health Champions.

The 2022 event will be held in the historic Wheatbelt town of York with the theme of “Building Resilience From The Subsoil Up”. This theme is supported by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), which is the major supporter of this year’s event.

More information on Talkin’ Soil Health 2022 can be found here www.soilhealth.com.au

This project is supported by FRRR, through funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund & National Landcare Program.
