What can the Voluntary Carbon Market do for you?

Posted in:
Healthy Environments

Do you have a site on your property that you want to revegetate but time/money etc keeps delaying it?

One way to get your revegetation plans moving is by participating in the voluntary carbon market.

The voluntary carbon market allows private investors, governments, non-governmental organisations, and businesses to voluntarily purchase carbon offsets to offset their emissions.

Across WA there are a number of organisations that are looking to establish carbon plantings to offset the emissions of their corporate customers. This is where the opportunities are for the Wheatbelt community.

Voluntary carbon offsets may earn you some complementary income as well as the benefit in accelerating your planned revegetation projects with minimal cost to you.

Generally, carbon plantings are fully paid for by the company and all work is carried out by the company. They might even pay you to do the site preparation.

Carbon plantings can save you money and get the work done quicker.

We are in discussion with a number of carbon companies seeking opportunities in the Wheatbelt. We are looking to collect a pool of interested landholders that may wish to consider this opportunity.

If this is you please register at the following link and we will contact you to talk through your plans.
