Green Army Round 5 Now Open – Do You Need Help with Your Project?

Posted in:
Healthy Environments

Applications for Round 5 of the Australian Governments Green Army program are open until Thursday 16 June 2016.

Community organisations, Landcare groups, and local councils can apply to host a Green Army project.

Projects must have a clear environment or heritage conservation focus and offer participants valuable practical experience, while supporting a safe work environment.

Successful projects will be connected with the service provider who will provide and manage a Green Army team to complete the project work.

A Green Army team is a wonderful opportunity to gain manpower to complete your community project and provide training opportunities for young people in the NRM sector.

In this round of the Green Army you can apply for multiple projects in one application or just one to two projects.

Wheatbelt NRM can put you in contact with a Service Provider who will be able to assist with your project idea.

Please register your interest in being referred to a service provider with Wheatbelt NRM by contacting Leigh Whisson, Regional Landcare Facilitator at lwhisson@wheatbeltnrm.org.au
