2017 Threatened Species Forum

The WA Threatened Species Forum aims to address the decline of Australia’ threatened species, by raising awareness of current and emerging challenges and opportunities for WA’s unique native plants and animals.

The forum is a collaboration between WA’s seven regional NRM groups (NRM WA) and the Department of Parks and Wildlife. It will be held in Geraldton, WA on 7-8 September 2017.

Confirmed guests speakers include: Gregory Andrews (Threatened Species Commissioner), Penny Figgis (IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, Oceania) and Carlos Drews (Jane Goodall Institute).

Call for abstracts – are currently open for oral and poster presentations. Closes: 30 June 2017
