The presentation will showcase the use of different mitigation strategies that will help reduce the carbon footprint of grain produces on-farm within WA. The research looked at using life cycle analysis of grain production and we will learn how it is used to measure the carbon footprint of the grain production systems across Australia. The life cycle of grains is becoming the focus of consumers and grain marketing businesses as the EU has recently introduced non-tariffs trade agreements premised on climate change mitigation efforts.
