The Wheatbelt Baselining Project is a natural diversity project initiated by Wheatbelt NRM. The project's primary purpose is to collate the biodiversity data and interpret this data to support other projects within the region. The preliminary role was to identify key knowledge and operational gaps in natural diversity conservation within the Wheatbelt NRM region. It provides a benchmark from which assessments of vegetation conditions can be made.
