Gabby Quoi Quoi is a Noongar word meaning water plenty plenty. The Gabby Quoi Quoi Catchment group is situated in the Shires of Goomalling and Wongan Hills, covering an area of approximately 21,000Ha. In 2010, the Catchment Group applied to Wheatbelt NRM for a Small Community Grant to improve access and safety at the Gabby Quoi Quoi lookout. From this lookout you can see much of the work that has been carried out by the Catchment Group with information on their projects. The grant was also to update the information boards to include details of the group’s projects over the past 15 years. A local stoneworker was engaged to work with volunteers to improve access to the carpark and the lookout. The lookout is frequented by tourists and Farm Groups.
