Healthy Environments - Project Support Officer

Based in Northam

Full time/ Part Time position (22.8 - 38hrs/week) Negotiable

Annual Salary: $58,658

This position is offered on a fixed term contract to 30 June 2018

 

An exciting opportunity exists to work in a dynamic team to support participation in natural resource management.

Wheatbelt Natural Resource Management is a non-profit organisation working in partnership with community, industry, and government to provide regional leadership and direction for sustainable land use and the conservation of natural resources in the Avon River Basin of Western Australia.

The Project Support Officer will assist the Healthy Environments team to work with community members to implement biodiversity conservation projects.

This position would suit a recent graduate looking for experience in the area of biodiversity conservation or a Wheatbelt resident with an active interest in the natural environment of the Wheatbelt.

We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with members of our community and work with them to deliver on-ground biodiversity outcomes.

Good data management, written communication and organisational skills will be highly regarded.

A strong commitment to community-driven NRM is essential.

This position is offered on a fixed term contract and hours are negotiable, but in the range of 22.8 to 38 hours per week.
